Mr. Tackie's Althea Woodland Success Story

Mr. Tackie is a young gentleman admitted to our facility for one month of sub-acute rehabilitation.  Upon admission to our facility, he was unable to walk with support devices and could not stand on his own.  Our team made a concerted effort to integrate Mr. Tackie into the facility's daily operations to accelerate his rehabilitation, setting him up with our community services team to aide in reestablishing his independence.  With hard work, dedication, and resilience, Mr. Tackie put his wheelchair behind him on his discharge date and walked through our front door.  As he prepared to leave, he told our team, “I may have rolled in these doors, however I am going to walk out.”  And that he did.  Thank you for letting us be a part of your recovery!  Good luck.
