A Former Resident's Thank You Letter!

A recently discharged resident courteously wrote a thank you letter to our staff after leaving.  A copy of the letter can be found here; the transcript is below.  Thank you so much for the kind words!  We're so glad we could help restore your independence.

Michelle,
I finally came to the end of my journey at the Althea Woodland.  I feel now very strong and happy going home to be with my family.
I found a warm welcome from the time I stepped in and till the time I’m leaving you.  You have a caring staff, the atmosphere is like being at my own home with my family.  All your staff is so great and there is no exception:  the kitchen staff, activity staff, nurses and techs, housekeeping staff, the therapists staff and not to forget Angela, the laundry person.
You all are wonderful and treat patients like your extended family.
My big thanks to Dorothy, who took care of me like her own relative.  Because of that, how many times I placed calls to Paris and Togo (West Africa) and asked my relatives to thank her for me over the phone in my room.
Michelle, your staff deserve a big raise.  I wish every one of you a happy Thanksgiving.
Love to all,
Sika Amavi Zankli
